The Story of A Fairy Is... (For Christine)

I wasn't sure, since the fairy is naked, to put this under mature or what. Lately, the song that's stuck in my head is "L'Histoire d'une fee c'est" (The Story of a Fairy Is...) performed by French singer Mylene Farmer for Rugrats in Paris: The Movie. And the art for the single CD features Mylene herself as a fairy sitting on a bed watching over Chuckie as he sleeps. As most of us know, Christine Cavanaugh, the original voice actress of Chuckie (as well as Dexter from Dexter's Lab, Oblina from Aaahh! Real Monsters, Goslyn from Darkwing Duck, Bunny from The Powerpuff Girls and Babe in the first movie) died a few months ago in December. It still makes me sad as I've been a fan of her and she's always been a voice I've remembered from my childhood. This is my remembrance picture for Christine Cavanaugh, basically I copied the "L'Histoire d'une fee c'est" art, but added some touches (did watercolors for the green background around Chuckie, the bed and the fairy), drew the trees over that, and the text "In Memory of Christine Cavanaugh". May she rest in peace.
