Madeline and Pepito Miyazaki Style

Looking back at the drawing I did of Madeline if Studio Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki ever did an anime version, I felt like I should do Ghibli style drawings of some of the other characters. Here we have Madeline and Pepito in Miyazaki's style. Where my Ghibli design for Madeline was inspired by Mei from My Neighbor Totoro and Ponyo from Ponyo On the Cliff By the Sea, my design of Pepito was inspired by Sosuke, also from Ponyo. I messed up somewhat the first time, so I had to redraw them and then added the old house covered with vines in the background. I also plan to do Miyazaki-style drawings of Miss Clavel and the other little girls, so look forward to that.
